Andre van Houten ’S-Gravenzande - NL
Wins with ‘Vale Finn’ 1st National St- Vincent against 12,072b
The victory ....
The very sympathetic Andre van Houten from ’ S-Gravenzande wins the 1st National St-Vincent against 12,072 pigeons.
This pure hobby fancier basketed 3 pigeons on the national race out of St. Vincent. His 4 long distance pigeons are in the team of the program pigeons. This St. Vincent wasn’t an easy race, rain and unstable weather made it difficult for the pigeons.
Nevertheless the NL17-1167213 clocked exact at 11h49 at the loft of Andre van Houten.
And this for a distance of 1,012km with an average speed of 1,123 m/m.
Within the region he clocked 2 hours before any other pigeon and national one hour. It is an extra unique performance as this pigeon lives totally against the wind in at the sea coast. Not many pigeons will cross the ‘Zeeuwse’ waters with Western wind. ’ S- Gravenzande is a seaside resort with the most beautiful beaches of the Netherlands and is right in front of the North Sea.
Small relapse….
3 weeks ago Andre’s pigeons weren’t that ok, they weren’t sick or anything but just came a bit too short. On advice of Theo de Kruijk he gave his pigeons a few days a week several Herbots and Herbovet products. 4 Oils, Optimix and Herbosol. That this had the right effect on the pigeons was something Andre noticed immediately. He called Theo to tell him that the pigeons felt better, round and soft. They also trained much better. Also the hard race out of Vierzon went better than the former races.
The end result is one that he could only dream off : the 1st and fastest pigeon out of St. Vincent of Holland.
Congratulations Andre, but also a big congratulations for his pall and neighbour Bertus Grooteboer who is the breeder of this top pigeon !!!
