What a season Carine and Benny Steveninck have put on paper. Not to be estimated! Already some 30 victories adorn their palmares. It really rained top pigeons here and this will show itself in the coming weeks in numerous rankings of several ace pigeon championships on provincial and national level.
Soon, we will elaborate on all these top performances but now we would like to take a closer look at Chateauroux national of last WE.

Local Sint-Gillis-Waas : in both categories the 1st prize
Provincial : 
1st prize against 886 old birds 
2nd and 5th prize with the yearlings. 

National Zone:  
546 old birds: 1e-2e-3e-4e-14e-33e-36e-40e-49e-50e etc.. 
723 yearlings: 1st-2nd-6th-12th-21st-37th-43rd etc..

National: 
4,003 old: 7th-26th-52nd-56th etc..
5,720 yearlings: 10th-25th-79th etc...

And as proof that the Steveninck-cracks can cope with any distance, they excelled locally on Libourne with 3 out of 4 in the old birds and 6 out of 6 in the yearlings. As an intermezzo, the youngsters also gave their references with the 1st prize from Toury and a score of 23 out of 29.
