Herbots | Eijerkamp, again outstanding in the hard and difficult 2021 season

The Eijerkamp lofts, Lotte Eijerkamp and Hans and Evert-Jan Eijerkamp, were already the best in Holland in the last few years as they became 1st Nat. champion Best Fancier in 2019 but also in 2020. In fact, in 2020 they became 1st and 2nd Nat. champion Best Fancier of the Netherlands WHZB / BoTB as they race with 2 different teams from the Greenfield Stud in Brummen. So both teams beat the rest of the Netherlands in 2020 and nobody would think or imagine that this could be improved again but …….. the Eijerkamp lofts proved again the quality for their pigeons in this difficult season. In 2021 again it was an incredible season and despite the tough and sometimes strange races they again performed superb.!!!

Nestor Hans Eijerkamp, now 87 years old in meantime, has placed his first steps within pigeon sport over 70 years ago already is still enjoying daily all the joy that pigeon sport brings him. Due to some physical limitations, he can’t unfortunately practice pigeon sport anymore but the daily business is being talked through with his son Evert-Jan (61) who was infected with the pigeon germ since a very young age. Evert-Jan might even be more fanatic than his father ever was and despite the busy occupations he has running the 2 big furniture stores in Holland. On the Eijerkamp lofts in Brummen they race young pigeons under two different names namely Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp, together with caretaker Kees van de Beek and Lotte Eijerkamp where the loft Lotte Eijerkamp, under the lead of care taker Oliver Sabol.
