‘Creone Roeper’ 1st National Ace bird Long Distance Yearlings KBDB

Erik Limbourg, the ‘wonderboy’ from Brussegem keeps on doing it. He keeps on succeeding in breeding top pigeons and is able to train these that they set top results as well. The art of over and over again finding new blood that fit perfect with his own strain is something he knows really well. Also the story of his latest top pigeon ‘Creone Roeper’ who became in 2020 the 1st National Ace bird Long Distance yearlings KBDB. When top fancier Wolfgang Roeper decided to have a total sale on the Herbots site, Erik was on the top of his toes immediately. Erik knew that Wolfgang had top material on his lofts with a lot of genetic material from fanciers such as f.e. Heremans-Ceusters, Gaby Vandenabeele, Rudi Diels, Gebr. Janssens, Karel Schellens,…and that he bred one Olympiad pigeon after the other with these strains. After a call direction Germany with the question which would be the best asset for his own breeding loft they got to ‘Der 593’ and this is what happened…Erik became end of 2016 the new owner of the ‘Der 593’ DV01274-09-593 winner to ao:

½ brother to ‘Olympia 44’ (‘Olympia 44’ won the title of the 1st Olympiad pigeon Short Distance 2009 and is a daughter out of a co-breeding between the Bros. Herbots x x W. Roeper) and is a grandson to ‘Wonderaske’ from Heremans-Ceusters.
In Germany he already became father to at least 25x 1st prizes.

He was being coupled to the best breeding hens to be found on the lofts in Brussegem those days such as f.e. 
‘Sister Playboy Gilbert’ BE14-2151099 (daughter ‘New Gilbert’ x ‘Sister Chipo’) and became immediately parents to the wonderful hen ‘Laurence’ BE18-2053885 who isn’t just a nice, fine hen by hand but also an amazing racer:

As everybody knows did Erik have a total sale in 2020 and has to start over again with a team yearlings 2020 and a new team youngsters 2021. All of the top racers and top breeders are gone and everybody knows how hard it is to get to the top especially when you have to start over again. Nevertheless we are talking about thé Erik Limbourg who isn’t busy his first attempt and has proven before that he can do this. Caution is the order of the day and Erik can’t be seduced in making any prophecies but if he isn’t going to hit hard this year, it surely will be next year.
