Gert Rotman wins 1st Ace Pigeon OLR Derby Halkidiki 2024

Last weekend the final flight of the OLR Derby race Halkidiki took place in Greece. The distance was 410km for this final and 8 pigeons arrived immediately. Among these 8 pigeons was the “431/24” of Gert Rotman who was in the running to become overall ace pigeon in this one loft race and was flagged 8th, but this was more than enough to become 1st Ace Pigeon OLR Derby Halkidiki 2024. This pigeon is again a grandchild of stock mother “Algarve Queen” and is a half-brother of this top pigeon, which was also a winner in the final OLR Super Star Romania 2022 (420km). 

A total of 2,105 pigeons took part and in the final another 1,003 pigeons started.
