Kamiel Hazaert from Neerijse wins 1st Provincial Agen 856 yearlings

For Kamiel Hazaert this is a nice tribute that son Gerry has performed in the extreme long distance race from Agen after Kamiel left us in April 2022. They won 1st Provincial Agen in the yearlings and 3rd Provincial Agen in the old birds. The hen also gets the “Camille” as a reference to his father. She was bred from 2 toppers who were both present in the autumn 2021 auction.

Racing team on different systems

The racing team consists of about 75 pieces. The intention for several years now has been for the races from the Rhone Valley and the extreme long distance that Gerry has set his sights on. He especially prefers the combination of Agen and Narbonne.

In the beginning, most of the racing team was raced on total widowhood in the preparation. Afterwards, 1 loft was coupled before nesting on Agen. The winner “Camille” had no cock and was therefore visibly motivated for nothing. Now for Narbonne she will be basketed after 10 to 14 days of brooding, which Gerry has now made a lot of effort to couple.

The entire racing team will now be basketed at Narbonne at this position. The pigeons for pure extreme long distance flew both races at this position.
