Kobe & Kato Herbots from Velm and their super breeding line “Geof”

Velm in Limburg, home of Kobe & Kato Herbots together with their daddy Raf Herbots. For several years now it appears that the line of “Geof” and everything related to this family is the key to success. This season several lofts have again excelled in national races or shorter sprint races with top prizes against thousands of pigeons.
 

Successes in other lofts thanks to a strong breeding base

This is a cock that came about thanks to the strategy of this colony. First perform and then breed, the best pigeons were always coupled here after the season with the best breeders and that is how “Geof” came about. His father won 6th National Bourges against 36,307 youngsters and his mother is a daughter of “Super One” who won 44th National Argenton against 19,303 pigeons (she is also a daughter of super breeder Gaston Jr from Bart & Nance Van Oeckel) who was then coupled to “F16”, the ancestor of Bart & Nance Van Oeckel.

Cloetens Dirk ( Rotselaar ) 1 Nat (z) Bourges 3,205 youngsters

At the Dirk Cloetens house, "Magic Dries" has become the new super breeder in 2 years time, he is a ½ brother of "Geof" and comes from the same mother "Super F16" ( Daughter F16 B & N Van Oeckel x Super One ). He already breeds real toppers with 3 different hens.

Now in the 2023 season, Dirk again wins 1st Nat (z) Bourges against 3,205 youngsters with a daughter of super breeder "Magic Dries".

Van Den Abbeel – Peleman ( Buggenhout ) 2 Prov Bourges 4,988 youngsters

The superman from Lebbeke, who has been racing at a new location for years, won 2nd Prov Bourges 4,988 youngsters last weekend with a grandchild of “New National Geof” 1st National La Souterraine 14,315 youngsters and he in turn is a grandson of stock father “Geof” . The silver was won here after loft mate.

Knaepen Bjorn & Danny ( Nieuwerkerken ) win 1st Central Limburg Dizy 3,320 youngsters.

These pigeons also do great in the shorter races, an inbred youngster ( Son Geof x Granddaughter Geof ) wins 1st Central Limburg Dizy 3,320 youngsters.

Menten Ronny ( Rummen ) 1st National Aurillac 6,512 yearlings and fastest of 11,854 pigeons.

Ronny Menten won the national race from Aurillac this year and this was a great-grandchild of "Kato". "Kato" is a direct daughter of "Geof" and is developing into a real super breeding hen.

Herbots Jo & Raf (Halle – Booienhoven)

In the Herbots house itself there are several toppers who shine in the one day long distance, middle distance and longer middle distance.

We present one of this season's racing team to you. BE 22-2125155 is a direct daughter of “Geof” and wins 7 I.Prov.Orleans 3,192p – 7 Nat (z) Bourges 1,588p and 22 NAT Aurillac 6,512p.

The other toppers have been known for several years, but we certainly don't want to withhold you.

This is a short summary of some super top pigeons from this fantastic breeding line "Geof", the last of which we will not have seen yet. Always looking for "Number 1" is the motto at the Herbots house. This was the case in the years when the late Filip Herbots started with pigeons and is still the case today. Only the best is good enough.
