Anyone who looked towards the border of Flemish Brabant and East Flanders in the middle distance could not ignore one loft. The tandem Kris & Lieselotte De Bisschop played even harder in 2024 than we are used to from them. The pigeons got off to a great start at the beginning of the season and kept this up until the end of the season. The series of the young pigeons in the middle distance was even more impressive and this bodes well for the next season where they will have a completely new racing team.

Base breeding lines

If we look at the breeding loft, founding father “Robbeke” is a permanent fixture in many top pigeons. He won the 28th National Limoges against 16,893 pigeons and came from Martin De Roover (breed Lambrechts – Lismont x Louis Van Den Eynde x Roger Ponnet). We bought him at the total sale and were very successful against different pigeons. The luck of finding such a pigeon is of course a victory in building a colony.

A high-quality breeding hen they purchased was Steffi from Wilfried Van De Maele. She is the mother of two nest brothers “Den Hubert” and “Aidi 1”. These 2 national ace pigeons also pass on their good breeding genes. In addition, the input of pigeons from Team Noël – Willockx and Tom Van Gaver has also been successful and several top pigeons in the racing loft have come from them. 

But moving the crosses between the offspring of “Robbeke” to the breeding loft together with some proven toppers creates fireworks. Below we introduce you to several pigeons that require no words.
