Kris Cleirbaut and Cleirbaut Alicia – Govaerts (Putte) win 2 x 1st Provincial Brive

On the hottest summer day we have had so far, Brive was flown nationally. The first pigeons reached the limit of 1200 m/min, which made it a nice, hard flight. The first old pigeon from the province of Antwerp was clocked by Kris Cleirbaut in Putte. Fifteen minutes later it was the turn of Kris' daughter Alicia who clocked 2 yearlings within 5 minutes and won 1st and 4th Provincial. A super performance by the whole family and another victory is a fact. Both winners are linked thanks to super hen “628/21”. This was 2nd National Ace Pigeon over 4 flights in the longer middle distance in 2021 and her mother is a granddaughter of the world-famous “Di Caprio” of Dirk Van Dyck.
