The Eijerkamp team has an exceptional season 2020 by dominating the season on many races in all disciplines (except Marathon) in the pigeon sport. “In my 70 years as pigeon fancier I never, never raced that well with the pigeons as in 2020” according Hans Eijerkamp. “I am very proud to see the improvements we made over all years and the quality just growing in the width year by year. “Evert-Jan Eijerkamp and Henk Jurriens selecting and coupling all pairs with the greatest care and wisdom and this with the quality we have is leading us to the many successes for which they all speak worldwide, as I receive so many gratulations and thumbs week after week”. 
In Brummen, situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands, the Eijerkamp Team participate on all races with two teams; Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp and Lotte Eijerkamp. The teams compete in Afdeling 8 GOU, the biggest amalgamation in the Netherlands with 2,000 fanciers, against strong competitors which also is a drive and challenge each week to concur them.

What a start .. Fay aux Loges (Orleans) NPO… an Eijerkamp festival
The EIJERKAMP lofts have been outstanding from the first week of the season, with several early finishes and high prize percentages. The first highlight of the season huge is their triple victory NPO in Fay aux Loges on July 6th. The Eijerkamp lofts made an astounding performance, and they claimed one of the, if not the, most fantastic victories in their career in the long distance. They had the three fastest pigeons - clocked at 13:11'25", at 13:11'34" and at 13:11'39", with a velocity of 1477.157, 1476.561, 1476.230 m/min, racing against 9,218 pigeons covering a distance of 548 km. 

This resulted in a 1-2-3 NPO as well as an impressive 13 pigeons in the NPO top 100! The team for Hans & Evert-Jan Eijerkamp entered 30 pigeons while Lotte Eijerkamp entered 25 pigeons. We take a closer look at their impressive performance in which 42 prize cards were achieved out of the 55 pigeons entered (76,4%).

‘Indy’, the hen with the golden eggs
All top 3 winners are closely related to ‘Indy’ who is one of the best hens ever in the Eijerkamp lofts and ‘Indy’ is bred from the golden Van Loon and Janssen lines which made the Eijerkamp name world famous in the 80’s and 90’s already. Today these lines are unbeatable worldwide and many fanciers succeed with them in club and national competitions as well as in One-Loft-Races.

Week after week, the pigeons of Hans and Evert-Jan as well as Lotte Eijerkamp are showing to be in excellent form, with numerous top results, first prizes and high prize percentages. As such, the renewed super results in the National one-day long distance race from Fay aux Loges (549 km) on August 1st was not a complete surprise winning 4-8-11-29-30-32-33-37-40-53-56-97 National in section 3 against 14,097 pigeons.
