Pigeon Bids Frans & Gert Rondags closes at 203,150€ for 45 pigeons ( 4,514€ average )

Yesterday, the 7th of January the curtain dropped over the auction of Frans & Gert Rondags ( Spouwen – Belgium). The entire racing team of 2017 and 2018 came into the sale, thanks to the fantastic work of the Herbots Team this auction ended at a total amount of 203,150€ for only 45 pigeons or in other words 4,514€ average. The pigeons go to 7 different countries but it became especially a battle between China and Holland to get the best pigeons. The auction normally ended at 14h00 but only at 15u45 the last bid was made. 

The most expensive pigeons were “Boela” 1st Nat Olympiad bird 2020 ( sold for 42,500€ ) , “Nina” 3rd Nat Olympiad bird 2020 ( sold for 30,000€ ) , “Rogerke” 2nd and 7th National Ace bird Short Distance KBDB ( sold for 30,000€ ) , “Leo” 8th Nat Ace bird Short Distance KBDB ( sold for 22,000€ ) , “New Martine” ( sold for 10,000€ ) 

Amongst the most expensive pigeons went “Boela” , “Rogerke” and “Leo” to another super colony namely the Eijerkamp Family. They know what these pigeons can do and they surely will fit in their fantastic strain of pigeons. They want to continue doing in 2021 what they were doing the past years in Brummen. 

The other super star “Nina” goes together with 5 other top pigeons to the Chinese buyer Victor Yin who had already a lot of success with the Rondags pigeons and continues on investing in this strain wherefor a big thank you. 

The last hen in the row “New Martine” also stays in Europe and moves to the top colony of Rainer Püttmann in Germany.
