"Ting 17" of Benny Steveninck does it again, now 1st prize provincial Gueret 1,970 pigeons
13 Jul 2022
A few weeks ago we already informed you about the top performances that the Steveninck colony shakes from its wings. Carine and Benny have everything in tip-top shape and the results are coming in weekly in the direction of Hamme. At the moment the counter is already at 17 victories. Take last weekend as an example. Then no less than 4 first prizes from speed to long distance were clocked: 1st prize Gueret old, 1st prize Brive old, 1st prize Brive yearling and 1st Noyon young birds or in other words the "all-round" qualities of the Steveninck pigeons are unlimited. Pure class!
One hen we would like to put in the spotlight and that is "Ting 17". "Ting 17" (B20-4129917) was already shining in 2021 with 13th National ace KBDB yearlings and 5th provincial ace KBDB yearlings in big middle distance. But this year it is all over because last weekend she already won her 2nd provincial victory in 2022
1st Prov. Vierzon 7,433b.
1st Prov. Gueret 1,970b.
1st National (z) Gueret 1,044b.
38th Ecouen 2,009b.
46th prov. Chateauroux 4,489b.
106th Nat (z) Argenton 2,928b.
218th Prov. Chateauroux 4,164b.
As you can see "Ting 917" is an inbreeding product to ancestor "Chipo". She is born out of the best son of "Chipo" and then we are talking about "Chihaut 98" coupled to a daughter of "Nest brother Crack". For the record, this cock is also father of the co-winners 2nd National Championship old birds 2021.
The mother of "Ting 917" is "B14-6211143", a daughter of the well-known KBDB national ace "Sagan", coupled to his own sister.
The hens are still played on widowhood. They have done the complete heavy middle distance programme. Only after the very heavy Argenton they flew a speed flight the week after.
Carine and Benny...keep up the good work.
