Vermeerbergen - Wilms - Huysmans (Balen) Triumph with 2nd Nat. Bourges III against 7,617 yearlings

Balen - The Vermeerbergen - Wilms - Huysmans loft put in an impressive performance in the national flight from Bourges last weekend. With a handsome 2nd national prize against 7,617 yearlings, they once again proved their class in pigeon racing. The winning hen, BE23-6110845, fell on the board at about 14:29 and recorded an average speed of 1380.32 m/m. Besides this superb performance, they clocked four other pigeons in the top 100 nationally against 5,529 old birds, confirming their strong form.

The hen that won the 2nd national prize is no stranger to the circuit. She previously stood out with the following performances:

Pedigree of Quality  

This topper has not only talent but also an excellent pedigree. On the paternal side, she descends from the renowned lines of Frans & Dirk Maris, notably from ‘Maxi’ (1st Nat. Argenton 3,660b) and ‘Lucky 13’. On the maternal side, she carries the genes of Guido Verheyden's 4th best Bourges pigeon on the 2019-2020 Pipa Ranking.
