The Boonen brothers, Wil & Johan are 2 fantastic people who can talk for hours about the pigeon sport. But here it is not only words but also deeds that are delivered in their favorite domain, the extreme long distance and preferably from all the international flights where they have been of the highest level in the Netherlands in recent years.
If we look at the last seasons, we will start with “Lowie” who won 3rd National Bergerac against 21,204 pigeons, this was in 2017. Afterwards it was the turn of “New Janske” who won 1st National Marseille in 2019 and 2nd International against 10,029 pigeons . Then it was the turn of “Blue 679” who won 2nd National Agen 6,844p and 6th National Marseille 4,310 pigeons and in 2021 Barcelona was their best flight of the season. Here “Caatje” took the lead with 1st National Barcelona against 4,838 pigeons and more than 26 m/min ahead of the 2nd pigeon in difficult conditions.

Caatje 1st NATIONAL Barcelona
July 9, 2021, in the Spanish city of Barcelona, the pigeons were given the freedom to eternal fame at 6.45 am. Over a distance of 1112km, “Caatje” was clocked at 7:14 in the morning. We had to wait and see for the next pigeons, but she had more than enough lead and was 26m/min faster than the 2nd pigeon in the Netherlands. A super performance of this top hen in tough conditions.
She is a granddaughter of "Evita" from the German colony Lessmeister who won 1st National Barcelona in 2006 and a granddaughter of the "Bonte" from Francois Callebout. This “Bonte” won 2 x 1st Provincial in the Rhone Valley, namely 1st Provincial Montelimar ( 3rd National 2,166 pigeons ) and 1st Provincial Marseille ( 21st National 4,000 pigeons )
Superstar "Blue 679"
A super cock that will compete in the extreme long distance in 2019, 2020 and 2021. When it shone in Marseille in 2019, we knew it was made of the right wood. That is why we did not opt for Marseille in 2020, but for Agen in the shorter season. He shone even better on this with 2nd National against 6,844 pigeons and was clocked at 0.03m/min. If “Blue 679” had won 1st National here, he would no longer be raced in 2021, but now he got his chance again at Marseille and was not disappointed. He won 6th National against 4,310 pigeons.

What a classy hen, being the best yearling from the Netherlands over a distance of 883km in these tough conditions and Internationally she was the best of all hens and she won 2nd International against 10,029 pigeons.
If you look at her family, the top class pigeon “Nightflyer” from Jan Stevens is present on her father's side, who himself won 2nd National St.Vincent against 3,824 pigeons and on top of that 3 x Top 45 National. On mother's side we find a direct daughter of "Super Agen". This topper won 1st I.Nat Agen against 20,072 pigeons. So if you look at this pedigree, only National or International top racers are in this fantastic hen.
Super cock “Lowie”
In 2017, NL 16-1731172 Lowie won the 1st NPO Bergerac against 1,908 pigeons over a distance of 818km. He also won 3rd National over the whole of the Netherlands against 21,204 old birds. He also comes from a family of toppers because his full sister won 5th National Marseille in 2018 against 2,750 old pigeons.
He comes from a cock from Jos Martens coupled to the real stock mother of this colony “Vanity 36” which comes from Antoon Vorselen.
