Benny Steveninck from Hamme wins 1st Provincial Bourges III East Flanders for old pigeons

Hamme - Benny Steveninck has achieved another impressive feat in pigeon racing. During the national flight from Bourges, his hen, "Ting 917-22", managed to win the first provincial place for old birds in East Flanders. With this victory, she was the fastest of 1,108 old birds, and also the fastest of the total field of 8,833 old, yearlings and young birds in the province of East Flanders.

However, the performance of BE22-4085917, or "Ting 917-22", is not limited to this provincial victory. She also won the sixth national prize against 5,529 old pigeons and became the 39th clocked pigeon in the entire field of no less than 39,695 pigeons, spread over old, yearling and young birds. 

This exceptional blue white feathered hen is a sister to Steveninck's other top pigeons, "Ting917" (BE21-4074921) and "Ting 17" (BE20-4129917), all of whom have achieved outstanding results.

Ace pigeon

With these impressive performances, "Ting 917-22" is not only the winner of the 1st Provincial Bourges III, but she also won the title of 6th National Ace Pigeon Great Middle Distance Old KBDB 2024 over 4 flights and 6th National Ace Pigeon Great Middle Distance Old KBDB 2024 over 7 flights. Benny Steveninck can also look back on a successful season in which he was crowned 5th National Champion Great Half-Fond Old + Yearlings 2024 and with another top pigeon (BE22-4085924) becoming 20th National Ace Pigeon Great Half-Fond Old KBDB 2024 over 4 flights.

Tried and tested system  

Steveninck's hens are played with a stay-at-home partner, which contributes to their consistency and focus during the flights. His feeding system is entirely based on the Beyers Enzymix Modern System, which provides the pigeons with the energy and nutrients they need. His breeding loft consists of 30 pairs, from which he produces his top pigeons every year.

With these victories, Benny Steveninck reaffirms his status as one of the leading pigeon fanciers in the region. His pigeons continue to perform at the highest level, and his successes in 2024 underline his passion and skill in pigeon racing.
