Brothers Desbuquois F. (Kapelle-op-den-Bos) Win 1st Prov. Tulle Flemish Brabant against 734 Old Pigeons (fastest of 1.491b)

25 Jun 2024

Kapelle-op-den-Bos - Didier & Michel Desbuquois produced a fine performance on the national flight from Tulle. Their pigeon, BE22-2051034 "Den Tulle", won the 1st provincial prize against 734 old birds. Moreover, "Den Tulle" was the fastest of 1.491 old and yearling birds together. At national level, "Den Tulle" also performed exceptionally well with a 6th place against 7.883 birds and a 10th place against 13.634 old and yearling birds together.

BE22-2051034 "Den Tulle "
The winning pigeon, "Den Tulle", is a blue cock with an impressive pedigree. He is a half-brother to "Conor Mc Gregor", a pigeon which also achieved considerable successes including:
4th International Pau against 21.394 pigeons in 2021
32nd National Agen against 3.600 pigeons
56th National Perpignan against 4.305 pigeons

Pedigree
The father of "Den Tulle", BE14-2237497, is a full brother to the super breeding hen "Mona Lisa". "Mona Lisa" is the mother of "Top Gun" (3rd National Ace KBDB one-day long distance races) and "Valence" (6th National Ace KBDB one-day long distance races).

The mother of "Den Tulle", BE20-2072241, is a half-sister of "Creone Roeper" of Erik Limbourg. This mother was obtained through co-breeding with Erik. "Creone Roeper" became 1st National Ace KBDB in 2020 and 11th National Ace KBDB in 2019. Besides a great racer, "Creone Roeper" is now proving itself as a top breeder with excellent references in several lofts. In addition, the mother BE20-2072241 is also a half-sister of the 2nd Nat. ace KBDB L.D. and 7th Nat. ace KBDB Allround. No shortage of good genes.

System
A simple but effective system is used by the Desbuquois brothers. The pigeons are played on widowhood and extra motivated with a new hen on the day of basketing.
The performance of "Den Tulle" demonstrates the quality of the Desbuquois brothers' pigeons and their commitment to pigeon racing. In my opinion, this victory is no coincidence and undoubtedly promises many more great things in the future.

Didier & Michel, congratulations once again from the entire Herbots team!
