Eyletten Michel & Gunther (Diest) win 1st Provincial Sancoins 1,572 old birds

This weekend the pigeons had to deal with an extra night in the basket again, most of them are probably used to it by now. The pigeons were released on Sunday morning and were given a release location in Sancois, the first time we would fly nationally here. The winner for Flemish Brabant can be found among the old pigeons in the lofts of Michel & Gunther Eyletten in Diest, which are already playing great this season. Their racing team was present again in the middle distance, national flights and the long distance flight from Tulle. The youngsters are also doing well because here too they started with a full podium for them at local level at Soissons. 

The winner is an experienced hen who has already earned more than enough praise, she gets it from no strangers because her mother was also a fantastic racer. She is in the running to have a shot at the ace pigeon title in the longer middle distance and is currently 2nd among the old hen out of 3 flights after 4 flights have been flown. 

This hen flew 2x middle distance before competing on Bourges, after which she flew Blois, Argenton, Momignies and now Sancoins. There is little peace and quiet here and this hen rarely misses, she hasn't done that in a year.
