Gert Rotman ( NL ) again wins the Final race OLR Algarve Great Derby 2022

Last Friday the final flight was on the agenda of the one loft race in Algarve Great Derby. 2,063 pigeons entered the race for a distance of 486km. The semi-final flight was only 205km and now they had to jump towards almost 500km. They arrived together with 7 pigeons and the 1st that entered was “Algarve 065” from the Gert Rotman colony. For Gert the 3rd victory in a final flight in one month. Super class of the highest level and on top of that another 60,000 Euro in prize money.

In the past he already won this edition in 2015 with “Daughter Algarve Koppel” and in 2018 he won the 1st Ace pigeon with “White Sensation 662”. In 2016 he won bronze in the final flight so these races are the favorite domain of these pigeons.
