National race in Denmark from Antwerp 2023

The National race in Denmark from Antwerp was this year delayed several days and due to the bad weather the pigeons were moved from Antwerp to Dresden in Germany and released on Wednesday the 2. of August.
A total of 2.109 Danish pigeons were basketed into the race, which is the most prestigious long distance race of the season.
The winning pigeon was a one-year-old hen Dan 0192-22-3445 raced by the partnership Racing Team CN.
Racing Team CN is a partnership consisting of the two Danish fanciers and friends Niels Johansen and Carsten Petersen racing together from a beautiful loft situated in the town Dalby a little bit south of Copenhagen.

The winner ‘3445’ is of origin from Etienne Meirlaen; St Martens Latem and Roger Wijnands; Maastricht. ‘3445’ was raced on the nest system having 12-14 eggs in the nest, when she was basketed.

When arriving ‘3445’ came like a bullet in the air, and she won the race 11 minutes ahead the 2nd National. A great performance of the pigeon and of course the owners were very proud, when the Danish Federation called and told them about the National win was a reality.
