Nothing exaggerated when we say that here we are dealing with one of the top colonies of Belgium.

In spring we put an extensive report online on the Herbots website. If you want to read it again, click here.

1st National Vierzon

“Plein direction”... Olivier and son Justin are still visibly enjoying themselves when we congratulate them on their new national win. “We already had a lot of the wind in our disadvantage, but now it blew fully in our favor. It is at such times that we have to strike here in the region and look, we succeeded. The fact that we also clocked the fastest of all 22,675 pigeons gives this victory an extra shine. We saw her coming from far away, not one centimeter wrong. When you see that you feel it's a very early pigeon.”

The hens were darkened in the spring and exposed since the longest day of the year. As a result, most of them have only skinned a few pens and - as long as the molt stays away - they are played on widowhood. The forme is still in the group, which they show in their daily training sessions. There is a lot of “eagerness” in flying and that is always a very good sign.

The winner was bred by PEC.  When they bought one of our toppers we also made the agreement to bring some youngsters to Vaulx every year to play them. Only these - for our method - were delivered a bit too late so we could not test them fully as youngsters. For that reason, we did not play any youngsters from them this year. Who knows, maybe next year again.

The winner has a very nice pedigree because 3 of her 4 grandparents made it to national ace KBDB and we are talking about “Golden Prince” (Clicque Gino), “New Kim” (Gaston Van de Wouwer) and “Nadine” (Daniels Willy).
