Team Verschoot...no...it is not a new name in Belgian pigeon racing. Team Verschoot stands for Dieter Verschoot who continues the life's work of father Joël Verschoot. Not that daddy Joël said farewell to pigeon racing completely, no...only a step aside was taken. Joël moved and son Dieter took over the house, garden and pigeon lofts. Now it is Dieter who limns the lines in which football is played. Dieter has known the ins and outs of pigeon racing for years. Thanks to the support of daddy Joël, he can reach into a "pocket full of experience". Partly thanks to the necessary enthusiasm and motivation, he is finding his way to the top and with the necessary successes because look last weekend they won provincial Souillac 

Winning cock is "Arko". Released at 7am, he registered for a distance of 684km at 15h26min and 6sec. Good for an average speed of 1,352.25m/m.
